I am an arts tutor at Swarthmore Education Centre in Leeds. Please see below for the classes and workshops I currently teach or am scheduled to teach in the near future.
Felt-making
Learn to wet felt and needle felt to create artworks and/or beautiful functional pieces.
12 week courses – currently running. Mondays 1-3pm
Starting April 2020 – 12 weeks Mondays 1-3pm and 6.30 to 8.30pm .
One day workshops (4 hrs teaching) 10am – 3pm Sunday February 9th. Sunday March 15th
Supported Painting and Drawing
This is a supported class aimed at adults who need extra support or with learning disabilities. A variety of media and techniques are explored and an exhibition of students work is held towards the end of the academic year.
33 week course from September 23rd until July 6th. Mondays 10am – 12pm.
New students are welcome to join at the start of a new term.
Sustainability Through Art.
Trialling a new short Family learning course thinking about sustainable lifestyles whilst having fun with art. This course is aimed at parents / carers and children.
Beginning February 26th for 6 weeks, Wednesdays 4.30pm until 6pm.
One adult can accompany up to 2 children.
